Y Camp work party this weekend, volunteers needed

This weekend April 27-28, 2019 we are hosting a volunteer work party. We will provide free lodging and meals for all those who are in attendance. This is a great way to come get some hands on work and enjoy fellowship here at camp.
We need folks who can (safely) run a saw and help pile up brush as we continue to Firewise the property, spread wood chips and maybe even run a wood splitter, rebuild a greenhouse and sweep off cabin roofs. We have a couple carpentry projects and could use folks with those skills as well.

Some of the projects that we need volunteers for are: Cleaning of the cabins, opening up the waterfront and archery range for the summer season, painting projects, tending to burn piles/cleaning up storm debris eating of s’mores and much more!

Show up at the main Lodge anytime between 8am and 5pm on Saturday. If you plan to stay the weekend we ask that you please RSVP so we can plan on food and accommodations. If you would like more information or to RSVP contact Tim McElravy, Camp Director at tmcelravy@lwycamp.org or at (509) 763-9622.

We’re for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility
