Continuing the 2nd Friday meetings  with constituents in Plain, Chelan County Commissioner Bob Bugert and Director Mike Kaputa of Chelan County Department of Natural Resources  will host a walking tour of the White  Pine restoration project  on  Nason Creek this Friday, June 14th. Nason Creek was re-routed in the 1950’s to accomodate the railroad right-of-way.

The tour will meet up at Beaver Valley Lodging in Plain at 9AM for a brief explanation of the project and perhaps an update on the status of the short-term rental review in process. Good footwear is recommended for the walking tour but difficult terrain is not anticipated.  The group will return to Plain by about noon. Beaver Valley Lodge is the first building South of Plain Grocery. To read more of the White Pine project go to http://hws.ekosystem.us/project/290/14463
