ABOUT LIVING WITH WILDFIRE
PLAIN & LAKE WENATCHEE
Please bring yourself, family members, and neighbors for an afternoon of listening and sharing personal stories of experiences living with the reality of wildfire in our Valley.
When: Sunday, August 26, 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Where: Community Space at Plain Community Church (Basement Room)
Who: Open to the public. All ages welcome.
What: A time for sharing stories with each other.
Tea and coffee will be provided. A ‘sharing table’ for items will be available, see below.
Bring to share (optional):
• Your favorite comfort food.
• Resources you found to move animals or large pieces of furniture.
• Your individual Ready Set Go! list.
• A favorite poem, song, or prayer.
• Photos (printed).
• Post-it notes to yourself that helped.
• Tips for accommodating the smoke.
• Gratitude for others.
Note: Please put your contact info on photos, etc. You are welcome to print extra copies for sharing with others.
