General Information: 

Daytime temperatures typically range in the 70’s and 80’s, nighttime lows in the 50’s or 60’s. Camping Information: 

Campfires are allowed in designated pits (gathering of firewood is prohibited).  In the park, campfire wood can be purchased from the camp hosts and the camp store for $5 a bundle.

Reservations:  The reservation season is May 15 through September 15.  To make a reservation call 1-888-CAMPOUT (888-226-7688) or visit www.parks.wa.gov.   Camping without a reservation is possible for single-night stays on weekdays, though for stays of more than one night reservations are usually needed. Sites 89-100 are not reserveable and are available on a first-come first-serve basis.

South Park:  Standard sites (no utilities, $21.00 per night) are currently available in the South Area. There are heated restrooms with showers located in the campground.

 North Park:  Standard sites ($21.00 per night) and utility sites ($27.00 per night) are available in the North Park.  There are heated restrooms with showers located in the campground. 

Guided Horse Trips:  Available 7 days / week.  Call (509)763-3647 for more information.

Camp Store:  Open 7 days/week.  Ice cream, beverages, hot food, snacks and supplies.

Bugs:  Very few mosquitos this year.  Bring repellant just in case.

Interpretive Programs:  We will have junior ranger and evening programs this year,  beginning on the weekends in July and August.  Programs include culturally diverse song and dance, story-telling, Jr. Ranger activities and Smokey Bear helping to teach about fire safety.

7th: Enzian Schulplattler: Bavarian Folk Music, “Shoe Slapping Dance,” and Authentic Costumes, 8pm

14th: Black Bears: Cute and Cuddly, Fierce and Furry, 8pm

21st: Tom Porter: Dog Sledding, 8pm

28th: Tom Rawson: Folksinger and Storyteller, 8pm
