Beaver Valley school excess property declared surplus

At their regular meeting on June 25th the Cascade School District approved a resolution declaring 5.5 acres of land behind the Beaver Valley School in Plain as excess and not necessary to support the K-12 programs of the school district. This does not mean the land is for sale at this time or if the school district does decide to sell that Lake Wenatchee Fire and Rescue would be selected as the buyer. The fire district has expressed interest in the property which is adjacent to the existing fire station for possible future expansion in order to be prepared to meet the need for fire and emergency medical services for the growing population of the area.
