Trinity Work Party

While it’s summer here, up at Trinity, Fall has begun to set in. In preparation for the Winter Events they host each year, such as the Dog Sled Races, they have organized a work party to clean things up.

One of this years big activities is updating the Hydro Dam settling pond. This entails building forms, clearing brush and getting prepared to pour concrete. The fun starts about 9am on Saturday. We’ll doing alot of clean-up carrying lumber, etc. so gloves will be needed. If you have a weedeater that would be useful, but we have lots of tools here.

If you have time and are interested in helping get ready for Winter, this is the volunteer opertunity you’re been waiting for. They will be providing food, good times and if you’re interested, a tour. Directions are simple. Just drive up Chiwawa River Road (Old Medow Creek Rd) for 21 miles ending at Trinity.
