Regardless of where you receive your basic medical services, if you have a medical emergency or traumatic injury in the Lake Wenatchee/Plain/Chiwawa Pines area, it will be emergency service personnel from Cascade Medical Center that will be coming to your aid. Probably first with the EMT unit based in our area followed up by Paramedics coming from Leavenworth.  I had the misfortune to need their services two years ago as a result of a bad fall of a high roof. The EMT’s were on-scene within about 11 minutes and the Paramedics about 25- I think that’s pretty good for where we live.  The initial response, transport to Leavenworth and care in the emergency room were excellent and professional in every way and  as a result I have transferred my primary care business to Cascade.

Cascade Medical will host an informational meeting for the public at the clubhouse at Ponderosa  on Thursday, June 7th, at 7PM. Come and learn about the Family Practice Clinic and Emergency Medical Service they provide.

Directions to the Ponderosa Clubhouse:
From Plain Hardware continue straight South on Camp 12 Road about 1.5 miles. Turn right on Colt Road which is one-way going downhill. At the bottom of the hill turn right on Stirrup Street. Quarter Road is on your left but continue one block further and turn left on Morgan which may not have a street sign but has a large green hose on the corner. Tale the first left off Morgan which is Cayuse, pass the fire station on your left and you will be in the parking lot at the clubhouse.

I also had to use the EMT services in January. The response was remarkable for our area and the experience from the paramedics from Cascade Medical Center was a very good experience. Because of their expertise, I did not have to be transported to Wenatchee. The staff at the medical center was wonderful. If you have to have an emergency, we are in good hands in the Lake Wenatchee area. I use Cascade Medical Center for my routine doctoring, emergencies and Wenatchee only if I need a specialist.

My dad Pete died today after receiving numerous services over the past several years from the fine and exceptionally caring people at Cascade Medical.

His health was challenged and the doctors, nurses and other medical staff went out of their way to make him comfortable, give him another run at life and they provided priceless consolation to our family every time we needed them. I will never be able to adequately thank each and every one of those outstanding professional servants for what they did for my dad.

I hope you will excuse us from coming out to hear the presentation on Thursday but would really appreciate it if you let others know how much my family and I love the Cascade Medical family.
