We have two volunteer work weekends coming up this month on April 10-11 and again on April 17-18. We’ll be providing breakfast Saturday through lunch on Sunday for all our volunteers as well as opening up the cabins for anyone who wishes to stay the night. Arrival at camp can happen as early as 5pm on the Friday before each work weekend. Please contact us at camp to RSVP so we can plan for food, lodging, and jobs to be completed.
We are still in need of volunteers as well as a few tools like hand sanders and a log splitter to get all the jobs done. Plan on bringing your grubby clothes and work gloves. Below is a list of the jobs we need to complete.
- Spring Cleaning of cabins
- New wood stain on cabin decks
- Cleaning out the Camp Shop
- Unpacking/organizing the Camp Kitchen
- Opening up the waterfront and archery range for the season
- clearing debris from the trail systems and tending burn piles.
- Installing new park benches
- splitting and stacking of fire wood
- Repairing window screens on cabins
- Much much more!
