We were out on the ice on Fish Lake Saturday during some ice rescue training for the fire department and it was pretty soft on the surface. Gary Schuster was out yesterday to check the status of the ice at the skating rink and found the ice to be giving quite a bit. He has closed the skating rink for the season and advises that folks stay off the ice.
