Here is the latest on skate conditions, from Gary as of Mon Morning:  Despite the fact that the temp did not reach the magic 28 degree mark last night we do have skateable ice this morning. The sun will be out so the ice should stay firm until 1:00 or so. Beware of a few spots where excess flooding did not set up completely. Again lighter skaters will be just fine so your kids and grand kids under 80 lb should have fun most of the day. The outside perimeter is unskatable and you will have to cross the moat to get to good ice. To access Skates contact Gary at Gary’s Emaill

Donations of skates are still arriving, sharpened, and placed into inventory at the skate shed by the rink.

Volunteers will be needed to groom the ice after today’s session. That process will begin about 2:30 unless the ice stays skateable later..  I attached  a picture of our Zamboni crew at work.

We just need a couple of night of 28 degree weather at night and no more than 34 during the day and there will be perfect ice.  Is that too much to ask?
