Maya Lin, renowned artist best known for her design of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, will speak in Leavenworth on April 16th, with 100% of the proceeds from the evening benefiting the Chelan-Douglas Land Trust. The program is part of the Sleeping Lady Foundation’s on-going series of world-class speakers.

A limited seating dinner with Maya Lin is available for $100, including lecture tickets with reserved seating. Presented by the Sleeping Lady Foundation. Recently, Ms. Lin has been working on seven sites along the Columbia River as part of the Confluence Project. The Confluence Project’s intent is to preserve and protect the area’s natural and cultural resources. When complete, the project will have transformed seven places along the Columbia River Basin with significant landscape restoration and environmental enhancements, all of which will complement Ms. Lin’s permanent art installations.
