Hello from Grant PUD!
I’d like to provide information on several activities planned by Grant PUD for the White River and Nason Creek spring Chinook program properties over the coming weeks.
Several activities are planned at Grant PUD’s White River property located at river-mile 2, known as the bridge site. A replacement well will be drilled at the White River bridge site in mid-September. This well is approximately 10 feet north of the unsuccessful well drilled in 2009, which is being decommissioned. Crews are onsite this week to install a silt-fence in preparation for the drilling activity.
A well will also be drilled at Grant PUD’s Nason Creek property located at river-mile 9. Several trees have been removed to prepare for the well drilling, which will occur in September or October.
Work on both the White River and Nason Creek wells is anticipated to be complete by the end of October.
Environmental survey crews will be onsite at the White River and Nason Creek properties starting this week.
