The Pantry, Plain’s own food bank, is now open to serve you. Our hours are every Thursday, noon to 8:00 p.m. and the second Saturday of every month, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. We are located at 12447 Chapel Drive, right next door to Plain Community Church. We seek to assist people who find themselves in difficult circumstances in a respectful, confidential manner. In addition to the food bank, we have a bulk foods co-op, and we are developing a gleaning program and making plans for a semi-annual clothing swap, workshops, and community gardening opportunities. And, fresh baked, whole grain bread will be available every second Saturday in food boxes or by donation…first come, first served!
Donations of canned tuna, vegetables, tomatoes would be appreciated.
