The Chelan County Dept of Natural Resources will host a meeting at the Rec Club at the airstrip at 9:30 AM on Saturday, May 30th, to provide information to the public about efforts to evaluate water quality in Lake Wenatchee, provide an update on the Shoreline Master Plan review underway, provide information on the fish pens usage, etc. The PUD will also participate and provide information on testing done under their sponsorship, operation of the fish pens, etc. Questions and comments from the public will be taken at this meeting.
Several folks around the lake have commented that algae growth this year appears to be significantly higher than previous years. I encourage you to come to this meeting to hear what is being done to find the answer to what is going on in the lake!!Ocean’s Eleven ipod
