Dr. Bonnie Dunbar, astronaut and veteran of five space flights and 50 days in space, is currently the Director and CEO of the Museum of Flight in Seattle. She will appear in
Leavenworth on Sunday, February 8th. Her appearance is sponsored by the Leavenworth Chapter of P.E.O. and all proceeds will go to benefit programs for the education of women and the Museum of Flight Foundation.
Dr. Dunbar concluded her astronaut career as Associate Director of the Johnson Space Center and then came to the Museum of Flight. The museum is the largest private air and space museum in the world with an educational program that benefits nearly 100,000 students a year and operates an aircraft restoration center.
