2009-2010 snow reports

by George Wilson on November 13, 2009

Today brought the first significant snow of the year. It started about 7AM and at 10:20 AM we have a little over an inch on the ground.

Snow Reports will be posted daily on the website when there is significant activity to report.  The Snow Report will not appear on the homepage.  To find the snow report, go to www.lakewenatcheeinfo.com , click on Snow Report on the left side of the screen and scroll down to the George’s Snow Report.  The report will be updated daily, usually in the early morning, if we have had any significant snow, rain etc.  If you see the report is several days old you can assume that nothing significant has happened or I have been away, which doesn’t happen often.

For those that have not seen it before here is a link to the National Weather Service forecast pinpointed at Lake Wenatchee:   Lake Wenatchee forecast  There is also a link to it on the home page of the website.

In the past I have sent these  snow reports by email but encountered problems with some providers pegging me as a spammer.   The snow reports therefore will now be disseminated only through the snow report feature on the website.   Now and then we will send  “flash messages”  via email that go out ref road closures, power outages, severe weather, etc, . To be sure you get those go to the home page at  www.lakewenatcheeinfo.com and on the right side of the screen click on “Subscribe to Email”.
