I’d like to invite you to attend a public information session sponsored by
Chelan County on March 29, 9:30 AM, at the Lake Wenatchee Recreation Club,
to discuss various water quality efforts and concerns in the Wenatchee
watershed, with a special emphasis on Lake Wenatchee. A detailed agenda is
being developed and will be sent out shortly. The topics below will be
presented in as much detail as possible for discussion. Please let me know
as soon as you can if you have any specific questions that you would like
answered at the session. I will be convening a staff meeting with various
agencies shortly to prepare for the session and would appreciate knowing
your thoughts so that we can adequately prepare.
1.. What are the current water quality efforts underway in the Wenatchee
watershed?
2.. What water quality information exists for Lake Wenatchee, and what is
currently being done to monitor water quality?
3.. What are the current and potential impacts to water quality in Lake
Wenatchee?
4.. What should be done in the future to monitor and protect Lake
Wenatchee’s water quality?
Thanks everyone. See you March 29.
Please distribute this e-mail freely.
