The actual grooming is contracted out and paid for by the State from gas taxes and license fees paid by snowmobile users. Also, the Lake Wenatchee Recreation Club helps fund grooming. There are a number of people who volunteer and help maintain trails when needed. Also, they assist the Sheriff and Forest Service in patrolling. If you&#039;d like to help, then the Rec Club would be your first stop.  Our winter Search &amp; Rescue group can use a few more volunteers also.
