Several of us around the lake have been involved since last years ice movement or before to get destroyed pilings replaced,  damaged ones repaired or straightened or new ones put in.  The pile driving firm we had been dealing with informed us late in the year that they are not able to do the work.  [...]

After quite some time without seeing one, an otter was back on our dock this morning. As usual it was  very entertaining to watch him/her play.
