Warning- Do not float the White River
Good morning-
Rollie Schmitten advises that they floated the White River yesterday from just below the Sears Creek bridge. They encountered three complete blockages by log jams, a very dangerous sweeper and one weir just below the bridge. This is just the kind of stuff that resulted in two drownings two weeks ago on the Wenatchee River. Rollie knows these rivers well and stresses that the White River is very dangerous right now and warns against float, canoe or kayak trips down that river.
