Shoreline Master Program Meeting Wed Morning
Here is a repost of the Shoreline Planning meeting. We would appreciate notes from anyone attending so we can publish to the many interested folks who won’t be able to make a midweek meeting.
The Natural Resource and Community Development Departments invite you to join us for our Shoreline Master Program Symposium on Wednesday, October 31, 2007 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Confluence Technology Center (CTC) in Wenatchee. The Natural Resource and Community Development Departments are currently working together to update the Shoreline Master Program for Chelan County as part of an anticipated three-year process with a grant from the Washington Department of Ecology. The final work product will replace the current shoreline master program, which was adopted in 1975, and outline shoreline uses, standards and restoration on many of the County’s rivers, streams and lakes.
