Please Voice Your Support…
Hi again-
In the article of the Leavenworth Echo I posted yesterday you may have read that the extension of the fiber network to the Lake Wenatchee/Plain area would be accelerated significantly if the PUD commissioners consent to a proposal by the PUD staff to release some of next years budgeted dollars early to permit building the backbone of the fiber system up the Chumstick Highway this fall. This could provide actual fiber service to many homes in the area considerably sooner in 2008 than if the main line has to wait until Spring to be built.
I encourage you to support this proposed release of next years funds for this purpose and ask you to make that support known to all five commissioners whose email addresses are provided below.
Thank you-
George

I sent a letter to all 5 contacts as listed. I received comments back from both Ann Cogdon and Dennis Bolz. Both comments were positive in nature and both indicated that they were also supportive of moving ahead quickly. I did not hear back from any of the other three. I don’t know if this means we have 2/5th on our side, or if the other 3 comissioners are a bit too busy to respond.
