Mis-parked Dock

A neighbor of mine realized that he has inadvertently tied his swim float to the wrong dock in the winter storage area on the west end of the lake. Tom would like to connect with the owner of the dock he has tied off to. So if the description below fits your dock, please drop him an email or give him a call.

From Tom Shafer: I was told by a lake friend that it would be OK for me to lash my swim float to his dock ‘flotilla’, on the west end of the lake, which I did last weekend. Specifically, I lashed my swim float to a dock which is anchored closer to the Glacier View Campground. This one is “L”-shaped, and is relatively new. The longer leg of this dock (made up of two articulated sections) is anchored to the shore, and the shorter leg (one section) is anchored with a couple of cinder blocks attached to the off-shore corners. I placed my swim float inside the “L” part of this dock with two bumpers in-between and lashed the two corners of mine to the cleats of the other. My name and phone number are painted on the swim float, just above the water line: “SHAFER (206)935-4427”. Turns out upon review, the dock I tied the float to wasn’t the intended ‘flotillia’. I am hoping this is ok, if this is your dock please contact me at the number above or at: thomas@nasontek.com
