Hobie Cat adrift in Lake Wenatchee
We noticed a boat adrift in the lake this morning, put in our boat and went out and secured it to a large buoy in the middle of the lake about 1/2 mile off the State Park Beach. This is a yellow Hobie Cat with no mast and no registration numbers. It has duct tape patching in several places on both hulls.
The sheriffs department has been notified of this recovery and will wait a couple of days to see if anyone claims or recovers the boat but will then take it in as lost or abandoned property. I will leave my boat in the water until that happens so if this is your Hobie let me know and I’ll help you get it back to where it belongs.
