Fire Dept Fund Raiser
The Auxiliary members of Chelan County Fire District 9 at Lake Wenatchee will have their annual Labor Day garage sale and bake sale at Fire Station #1 this coming Saturday and Sunday, September 1st and 2nd. Hours are 9AM to 4PM on Saturday and 9AM to 2PM on Sunday. Items to be donated for sale may be brought to the station between 8AM and 4PM on Friday. All sales are by donation with no marked prices. The station is located at 21696 Lake Wenatchee Highway- just past the North section of the State Park as you drive toward the West end of Lake Wenatchee.
This sale has gotten to be one of the big social events of the year at the lake and is a lot of fun. The Fire Department is in the process of buying and equipping a new rescue vehicle and a significant part of the equipment for it (new jaws-of-life equipment) has been purchased with funds generated by these fund-raisers of the auxiliary. This is a good cause- please support it as generously as you can!!
