Community meetings
Hi again-
I have had several inquiries requesting clarification of the time/place of the property tax meeting tonight. It is at the Icicle River Middle School on Titus Road in Leavenworth at 7PM. It is expected that a County Commissioner, the County Assessor and some state legislators will be there to answer questions and explain the machinations of property tax.
On Thursday, June 28th at 6:30 PM there will be a public information meeting at the Lake Wenatchee Rec Club at the airstrip to present information and answer questions on the proposed Emergency Medical Services levy for 2007. This is the service that provides aid unit/ambulance service to our area.
Last Friday I sent forwarded to you all a message from one of our residents here at the lake that provided a link to a website that tracks and forecasts river flows. There were some attachments to that message. There are 278 recipients in that email grouping and all received it without problem except 2 addressees who have been receiving the message repeatedly. I don’ t know if the size of the file had anything to do with that but to minimize the chance of this happening again I will not forward messages that have attachments- any information to be disseminated will have to be in the body of the email.
