Hi All,
I have been contacted via a mutual friend by Harley Hoppe, the former King County Assessor who is presently doing property tax appeals. This company does appraisals/appeals for protesting real estate taxes. His fee is nothing if he can not save you money, otherwise he charges one third of the saving. Example: if your tax bill is $6000 and successfully has it reduced to $4800 his fee would be one third of $1200 or $400. There is a formula for determining your tax bill. Please check with the Assessor for the formula. Hoppe will only come to Leavenworth for several appeals, so if you are interested, send me a note.

Hi All,
I wrote before about Harley Hoppe Appraisers who will handle your tax appeal from the very start to the end of the appeals with nothing for us to do. The cost is $100 plus a percentage of the saving. If there is no saving the only cost is the $100. Harley Hoppe is he former King County Assessor. With that information I contacted Vickie Griffin in the Assessors office for any comments before signing the agreement with Harley Hoppe. She has agreed to investigate the appraisal of Bayern Village, where I live, and make sure that the appraisal was fair and market value. She will have her findings by next Monday afternoon. If anyone else questions the appraisal of their property this may be the time to contact Vickie Griffin. Good Luck to all of us.
