her neighborhood:
A neighbor up the road — 17725 North Shore (near Telma I think) — found a
full grown grey cat out in the snow this a.m. They have it in their bathroom

Hidden Lake Snowshoe

We took advantage of the break in the weather to snowshoe in to Hidden Lake today. There is a well broken trail. Given the rate that the snow is falling this evening it may take a little more work tomorrow.

Amtrak’s Empire Builder may get new stop

LEAVENWORTH — This Bavarian-themed village in Central Washington will be a new Amtrak stop next year.
